Interview: Chris Conley of Saves the Day

Very proud of this interview, but sadly no one seems to be reading it over at pop-break. =(.  Yes I seem to have just given that frowny face a beauty mark. Anyway here it is for your enjoyment, my interview with Chris Conley, lead singer and lyricist of pop punk band Saves the Day!

A Lack of Stability

So my mental health in the past few weeks has been unstable at best. It’s quite a scary thought not being able to be completely in control of your life and needless to say this has stressed me severely. I usually make fun of my girlfriend for that notion but I can see now where it comes from. What I think is a bit more frightening is where my intentions lie right now. I have been very snippy with people, thoroughly hating my job for all its worth and the people I have to deal with day in and day out.

My two days off were relatively pleasant this week and I didn’t care about much until I walked into work this morning. Immediately the weather changed and I was pissed and a bit depressed because of it. I’m hoping to flounder those feelings with a workout after work but no guarantees. To top it off I haven’t been able to find a therapist who will take me in, mainly because most of the ones I call seem to not be therapists anymore, probably from their own descent into insanity from hearing everyone elses’ problems. Well I’ll keep everyone posted about what happens next.

Review: Doctor Who: The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe

My last Doctor Who review for the foreseable future since the show wont be back till late fall.  Excellent Christmas special I believe regardless of some fans grumbling about facets of it. Enjoy.
